The Autonomous Vehicle Computing Consortium (AVCC) is excited to announce the launch of a new topic in our Working Groups focused on AI Cybersecurity. As the automotive and technology industries continue to push the boundaries of innovation in automated driving, ensuring the security of AI systems has become paramount.
Kick-off Meeting: July 24th, 13:00 UTC (9:00 am EDT/6:00 am PDT) (open to all – click here to request an invite via email)
On July 24th, we invite industry professionals from the automotive and technology sectors to join us for the kick-off of our groundbreaking study on the security of AI used in automated driving. This first-of-its-kind initiative aims to address one of the most critical aspects of autonomous vehicle technology: the robustness and security of AI, particularly in perception tasks.
Why AI Cybersecurity?
AI is at the heart of automated driving, enabling vehicles to perceive and interpret their surroundings accurately. However, these systems are vulnerable to various security threats that could compromise their reliability and safety. By developing benchmarks and datasets to test AI security, we can enhance the resilience of automated driving systems against potential cyber threats.
Get Involved
We are calling on professionals and researchers in the automotive and technology industries to bring their expertise and insights to this Working Group. Your participation will be instrumental in shaping the future of secure automated driving technologies.
Join us in this pivotal effort to ensure the safety and security of AI systems in autonomous vehicles. Together, we can drive innovation while safeguarding the future of transportation.
